Hello Fellow Health Pro!
As you prepare to rock the weekend I wanted to send a fresh reminder about habits and change.
My inspiration for this email came from mine and Abbi’s favorite new book,
The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing, written by Marie Kondo.
Who would have ever thought that a book about organizing and minimizing would correlate so well with your health and your business.
The book dives into habits and change, and the reality is whatever you’re doing in life, to really succeed at it, requires a mindset shift and new habits.
As I was reading I came across this quote from Ms. Kondo,
“People cannot change their habits without first changing their way of thinking”
Those words are so profound and so true.
The real reason people fail with their health is because they never change their way of thinking, they only attempt to follow the same habits time after time, always coming up short of their goal.
This is the same reason why so many fellow Health Professionals struggle with their business and are in a never ending cycle of selling their time.
Now, I get how change is never easy for any of us, me included, but many times it’s necessary.
We have all heard of the definition of insanity, “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome”.
At moments of insanity, change is needed as well as a new way of thinking.
So as you take on the weekend ask yourself these 3 questions:
- Am I moving forward with my business and goals?
- Is my daily work taking me closer to achieving my goals and building my business?
- Am I still motivated or am I feeling burnt out?
Your answers to those 3 simple questions will immediately show you if it’s time to make a change or lean into what you’re already doing.
If your answers are YES to those questions, then push yourself even more to building your business. Be a leader in our community, ask ALL questions, share ideas and keep learning and evolving with your brand and business.
But if your answers are NO to those questions, it’s time to make a change.
