Your Clean Eating Guide

Clean Eating is a statement that is used all around us, but what does that actually mean?

Over the last two months I’ve been in Brazil, Dubai, Russia, Poland, Malaysia, Turkey, Japan, Singapore and now I’m heading to Germany. As I tour and speak throughout the world the most asked question I’ve been getting is what is clean eating and how do I do it?

So to best answer that question, I wanted to do a quick article sharing the 3 main steps to eating clean proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

First off, clean eating simply means eating unprocessed foods, which is basically foods that has minimal ingredients. Clean foods are higher quality, cause less inflammation, digest better, help balance your blood sugar and optimize your health results.

Many times, we make eating clean way to difficult, and it doesn’t need to be that way at all…

Here are your 3 steps:

Step 1 – Know Your Clean Foods and Portion Sizes

Step 2 – Balance Your Plate with PFC Every 3

Eating a balance of clean protein, fats and carbs in the right portion sizes (as shown above in the chart) every 3 hours keeps your blood sugar and hormones balanced. Simply start working from that list, balance your plate as shown in the example below and add your free low-calorie vegetables, spices and herbs to keep your meals tasty!

Step 3 – Experiment and Understand Your Body

Step 1 and 2 provide an excellent starting point, and step 3 is all about expanding your food boundaries. Expanding your food boundaries provides a better understanding of your body and what foods are more in tune with your digestive system. This knowledge is how you zone in on the best proteins, fats and carbs designed for your body.
